Frequently asked

What is the Daily Board?

One board for everyone, every day, separately on Medium and Hard: tap the Daily Board button on the main menu (there is none on Easy). Solving it earns you 200 points on Medium or 400 on Hard, once a day each, added to your title and to that tier's weekly and all-time points. In the daily ranking, whoever solves it in the fewest moves, the fewest tries and the shortest time comes out on top; the clock starts with your first move. If you are caught, the board resets by itself and you try again. It needs an internet connection; while you are offline the button is hidden. A new board arrives every day at 00:00 UTC. The Daily Board shows no ads.

I'm stuck — there seems to be no way out

Every level passes through a solver before you ever see it: a level with no escape cannot be produced. If you are genuinely stuck, press Hint — it marks part of a winning route, not a guess. From the pause screen you can also swap the board for a new one.

How do hints work?

On Easy, a hint is free and unlimited and shows one move. On Medium and Hard a hint reveals a third of the remaining route, at most twice per board — the full solution is never shown. Hints come from your hint store: it refills by one every hour, up to two, even while the game is closed. You can add two more at any time by watching a short rewarded ad, and each version update brings five free hints as a gift (not on a first install). A level cleared with a hint counts for half the mastery points.

A hunter didn't go where the arrow pointed

A solid, bright arrow means that hunter goes that way whatever you do. A faint, smaller arrow means your own move decides it: hunters always take the step that shortens the distance to you, so moving can change which step that is.

When do ads appear?

Ads between rounds appear only after a round ends, when you tap the button on the result screen — never in the middle of play. How often they appear may change over time. Rewarded ads are different: they are shown only when you ask for one, in exchange for a hint or a new board.

How do the leaderboards work?

Medium and Hard each have a weekly and an all-time board, ranked by points earned. They run through Apple Game Center, so you need to be signed in; without it the game works the same and only the boards are missing. Offline, the last standings you saw are shown. The Daily Board has its own ranking, separate from Game Center, that starts over every day.

My settings were reset

Your sound and music settings live only on your device and are not tied to an account. If you deleted the app or moved to a new device, they return to their defaults. That is the trade for privacy: none of your data is sent to us.

Can I replay the tutorial?

Yes. Tap the gear in the top-right corner of the main menu to open Settings; the Tutorial row at the top starts all five steps again. Replay it as many times as you like.
